Eclipse .NET
A couple years ago I blogged about IKVM.NET, an implementation of Java for Mono and the Microsoft .NET Framework. It sounds like it's still under active development. I saw a reference the other day which mentioned running Eclipse 3.1 under IKVM.NET. So I decided to give it a try. It's not completely bug free but it works:It takes longer to load than Eclipse running under a JVM but once loaded, the performance seems fine. Although it's hard to imagine why you might want to run Eclipse like this, it certainly is an amazing technical feat.
